A Unique Approach to Retriever Training
Whether you have a gundog, hunt test or field trial prospect — Flyway Retrievers can help sharpen their skills and become a better retriever. What makes us different is our unique ability to understand dog behavior to help your dog solve problems and to learn at an optimal pace so that you achieve your training goals within a timeframe that’s acceptable to you.
We work with dogs from six months to two years at a time depending on your goals: from gun dogs to hunt test, and minor stakes field trial dogs. We also offer general obedience and boarding for most breeds.

We have a quiet, safe and secure play area for the dogs to have fun while they stay with us and learn every day.
Professional Equipment
We provide Priefert retriever dog kennels and Ainley trailers for your dog, because we believe training winning retrievers starts with the foundations of travel and transition. We have a daily airing routine for the kennels, which makes housebreaking a breeze when they return.
Each dog will learn their 5 basic commands as a baseline alongside their extensive retriever training.
Training
Repetition is the mother of mastery. This is especially true in training hunting dogs. While your dog can and will learn to solve problems, they won’t have a “lightbulb” moment and learn new skills overnight.
That’s why professional dog training is a lifestyle. What starts with foundations ultimately culminates in hours of daily retriever training.
